Alfredo Paredes

Alfredo Paredes

Alfredo Paredes is a Bolivian musician specializing in Charango, Guitar, and South Indian Konnakol. His practice moves between improvisation, sound exploration, and analog effects, shaped by years of traveling, teaching, and performing across many different musical landscapes. His journeys through Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, and beyond have deeply influenced his approach to music. For his residency at Bathyscaphe, he will present Lo que es sagrado (What Is Sacred), a solo performance exploring his personal reflection on what we consider sacred through an evolving, self-created soundscape.

Anthe

Anthe

Anthe developed a deep love for the acoustic piano. Her playing and songwriting are shaped by her early classical music training. New influences, more experience, and self-discovery fuel her musical world, leading to an intense, intriguing sound of her own, with enchanting melodies and personal lyrics where influences like AURORA, Hania Rani, Kate Bush and even Björk can be traced. With her ethereal voice, unrestrained piano playing, and a unique collection of samples and prepared piano sounds, Anthe immerses you in a hopeful dream.
